Client : Tess Coleman and Anna Coleman - mother and daughter from the movie 'Freaky Friday'.

 

The problem in this project was the conflict between Tess, the psychologist mother and her daughter Anna,who was a rock band guitarist. They had totally different personalities and need their own working space at home and at the same time they also need to live harmoniously under one roof.

 

The project goal was to make a house that not only can accommodate both of their personalities and works, but also able to give them a space to live together harmoniously.

 

The concept of the house was adopted from Color Wheel; where secondary and tertiery colors will not be attained if the primary color are not attained in the first place; just like Tess and Anna, who have to go through the first floor (which is the core space to gain quality time) in order to go to the second floor (where consultation room for Tess and music studio for Anna are located).
