Client : ENV Indonesia; an environment consultant office that is located in Intiland Tower, Sudirman.

 

In the existing space there is a cross-division way of working, where among the workstations, people can move around to do group discussions. Group discussions often happen because a project can be done by several divisions.

 

This is where the problem situated; there is no space that can accomodate group discussion conducively. The workstation is blocked with high partition and there is no lounge or recreation area. As a result, a concept "Casual - Barrier Free" is chosen, so group discussion can be done comfortably by creating a lounge and changing the form of workstation become more conducive for group discussions, changing vertical partition in the workstation into horizontal partition so psychologically there will be no barrier while in the real life there's still space for privacy. All the wall partition also changed into glass wall for psychological barrierless effect.
